I’m Sarah. I’m a Creative. This is a Bio. An innovative and visionary creative leader with over two decades of experience in art direction, design, and narrative development in branded content, art work, and storytelling. I am passionate about elevating other creatives through identity strategy and leadership that inspires and engages their inner world with the outer world.
In community, we are better.
I began studying Graphic Design in the late ’90s, just as Photoshop and Illustrator were transforming the creative landscape. Over time, my path expanded through photography, storytelling, meditation teaching, and spiritual care counseling. I’ve come to see art as a powerful vehicle for meaning-making.
Going back to graduate school to be a spiritual counselor, mindfulness teacher, and visual artist I blend Buddhist wisdom, creative process, and emotional care. With a Master of Divinity (M.Div) in Buddhist Studies and a BFA in fine art, I support individuals and groups in navigating burnout, creative blocks, and life transitions through presence-based practices rooted in compassion and imagination. I have worked in spiritual care at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and taught mindfulness and group dynamics at the graduate level as well as creative space community offerings.
In 2024, I completed a mindfulness teacher training with iBme and in 2025-2026 I will be in a hospital residency program in Portland,OR. My goal is to have offerings that meet people where they are, with gentleness, clarity, and a commitment to real connection.
Rooted in secular Buddhism and mystical inquiry, I aim to express the invisible threads that connect us all. My work explores identity, climate grief, creativity, trauma resilience, somatic healing, recovery, and imagination.
Currently, I support touring musicians and crew through Backline Care’s mental health services and collaborate with nonprofits, young adult programs (iBme & Inner-City Arts LA), and entertainment industry professionals. I offer emotional and creative support for artists, agency teams, and individuals navigating both the creative process and life’s most tender moments.
Always happy to share more.
Much love,
Sarah
